Profender — combined anthelmintic drug. 1 ml of the drug contains 21.43 mg of emodepside and 85.75 mg of praziquantel. Profender is available as drops on the withers in three dosages: for kittens and cats up to 2.5 kg, for cats 2.5-5 kg and for cats 5-8 kg.

Application:
Deworming of cats with mixed parasitic infestations:
- Nematodes — mature, immature and larval forms (larvae of the 3rd and 4th stages) of Toxocara cati, as well as mature, immature and larval forms (larvae of the 4th stage) of Toxascaris leonina
- Mature, immature and larval forms (larvae of the 4th stage) of Ancylostoma tubaeforme
- Cestodes — mature Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaformista and mature stages of Echinococcus multilocularis
Dosage:
The drug is recommended for external use only.
The minimum recommended dose of emodepsid is 3 mg/kg of body weight and praziquantel — 12 mg/kg of body weight, which is equivalent to 0.14 ml of Profender for cats/kg of body weight.
Method of application:
Take the pipette out of the package and hold it in a vertical position, turn and remove the cap. Turn the cap over and insert the other end into the pipette. Turn the cap so as to break the seal and remove the cap from the pipette. Unfold the woolen cover of the animal in the area of the back of the head, place the narrow end of the pipette on the skin and squeeze the pipette several times, pushing the drug onto the skin in this way. When applying to the skin, avoid the possibility of the animal licking the applied product.
