Prazistan — a combined anthelmintic drug, which includes pyrantel pamoate and praziquantel. It has a wide spectrum of anthelmintic activity for the prevention and treatment of nematodes (roundworms) and cestodes (tapeworms) parasitizing cats and kittens.
COMPOSITION
1 ml of the drug contains:
- active substances: pyrantel pamoate (50 mg) and praziquantel (10 mg);
- excipients: flavoring, fillers.
INDICATION
Deworming of cats with round (nematodes) and tapeworm (cestodes) helminths.
APPLICATION
The suspension is given orally on the root of the tongue (using a dosing syringe without a needle) or added during morning feeding with a small amount of food, without observing a fasting diet.
Preventive deworming is carried out quarterly (4 times a year), as well as 12-14 days before vaccination. In case of severe infestation, deworming is recommended to be repeated after 10 days.
The suspension has a sweet taste, which makes it easier to eat the drug.
DOSAGE: 1 ml per 2 kg of body weight.
DISCLAIMER
- Apply to kittens over 3 weeks of age.
- Forbidden to use in sick and weak cats.
- Do not apply to females in the first half of pregnancy and within two weeks after childbirth.
- Do not use simultaneously with piperazine and drugs that inhibit cholinesterase.
Shelf life: 2 years.
