SUPERIUM Milbest — anthelmintic tablets for cats. The drug is intended for the treatment and prevention of adult cats and kittens in case of cestodes, nematodes, trematodes and mixed infections. Prevention of heartworm disease. For prevention, it is enough to take it once every 3 months.

Active substances: milbemycin oxime, praziquantel.

Application

The drug is prescribed to adult cats and kittens for the treatment and prevention of lesions:

• cestodes (in imaginal and preimaginal stages): Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus spp., Mesocestoides spp.;
• nematodes (in mature and larval stages): Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Uncinaria stenocephala, Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Trichuris vulpis, Thelazia callipaeda, Angiostrongylus vasorum (reduces the intensity of infection), Crenosoma vulpis (reduces the intensity of infection); /li>
• with mixed nematode-cestodosis infestations.

The drug is applied to cats once during feeding with a small amount of food or is forcibly injected at the root of the tongue after feeding, based on:

Side effect

In rare cases, the drug can cause a depressed state, drooling, muscle paresis, tremors and (or) unsteady gait. These symptoms pass spontaneously during the day, if necessary, symptomatic therapy is prescribed to the animal.

Contraindications

• Do not use in animals with known increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug (including in the anamnesis)!
• Do not use in animals with severe kidney and liver dysfunction.
• Do not apply to exhausted animals and patients with infectious diseases!
• Do not use in kittens younger than 6 weeks of age and weighing less than 0.5 kg.
