Ceva Vectra 3D Flea and Tick Drops for Dogs

Vectra 3D is a modern combination product designed to protect dogs from major external parasites. Developed by Ceva (France), it provides insecticidal, acaricidal, and strong repellent effects.

Indications:

• treatment and prevention of flea infestations and their larvae (Siphonaptera spp.)
• protection against lice (Sipunculata spp.) and chewing lice (Trichodectes spp.)
• repellent action against mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti, Culex pipiens), sand flies (Phlebotominae spp.), biting flies, and midges
• prevention of infestation by ixodid ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus)

Composition:
active ingredients: dinotefuran, permethrin, pyriproxyfen; excipients.

Mechanism of action:

• Permethrin — a synthetic pyrethroid with strong repellent and insecticidal-acaricidal activity, affecting the nervous system of parasites and causing their death.
• Dinotefuran — a contact neurotoxin acting on the nervous system of flying insects, without inducing resistance.
• Pyriproxyfen — inhibits growth and development of fleas and lice, and is resistant to UV radiation.

After application, the active ingredients accumulate in the epidermis, hair follicles, and sebaceous glands, providing long-lasting repellent and insecticidal-acaricidal protection. The product prevents insect bites.

The effect against fleas begins within 2 hours and eliminates them within 12 hours. It provides up to 100% protection against ticks for 3 weeks and up to 95% during the 4th week. Ticks do not attach to the skin and cannot bite the animal.

Protection lasts up to 4 weeks.

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity to the components of the product
• puppies under 7 weeks of age or weighing less than 1.5 kg
• do not use in other animal species (cats, ferrets, rodents, etc.)

Special precautions:

• use in pregnant, lactating, or debilitated animals only after veterinary consultation
• do not use simultaneously with other insecticidal-acaricidal products

Directions for use:
Apply once topically to dry, intact skin. Hold the pipette vertically and apply the contents to an area inaccessible for licking (between the shoulder blades, at the base of the neck).

Do not bathe the animal for 48 hours after treatment. Repeat treatments at 1-month intervals.
