Composition

1 ml of the drug contains active substances: imidacloprid - 100 mg, moxidectin - 10 mg.

Application

• Prevention and treatment of cats for flea infestation (Ctenocephalides felis), treatment of otodectosis (Otodectes cynotis), notoedres cati and gastrointestinal nematodes (larvae (L4), immature and mature Toxocara cati and Ancylostoma tubaeforme), prevention of heartworm disease (micro heartworms (larvae) L3 and L4 Dirofilaria immitis).
• The drug can be used as one of the means in the treatment of allergic flea dermatitis.
• Prevention and treatment of ferrets in case of infestation by fleas (Ctenocephalides felis), as well as to prevent dirofilariasis (microdirofilaria (larvae) L3 and L4 Dirofilaria immitis).

Dosage

The minimum recommended dose of imidacloprid is 10 mg/kg of body weight, moxidectin is 1.0 mg/kg of body weight, which is equivalent to 0.1 ml of Advokat® for cats per 1 kg of the animal's body weight.

Advokator dosage scheme® for cats and ferrets:

• for an animal weighing up to 4 kg: volume 0.4 ml; Imidacloprid (mg/kg body weight) at least 10; Moxidectin (mg/kg body weight) at least 1.
• for an animal weighing from 4 kg to 8 kg: volume 0.8 ml; Imidacloprid (mg/kg body weight) 10-20; Moxidectin (mg/kg body weight) 1-2.
• for an animal weighing more than 8 kg, a suitable combination of pipettes.

Cats

Treatment and prevention of flea infestation
A single treatment prevents flea infestation for 4 weeks. It is advisable to combine the treatment of animals with the drug Advokat® for cats with treatment of animal habitats to interrupt the life cycle of fleas. In the treatment of allergic flea dermatitis, the drug is recommended to be used monthly.

Treatment of otodectosis
Single use. Re-processing is possible after 30 days.
Do not apply the drug directly into the ear canal.

Treatment of notohedrosis
Single use.

Prevention of heartworm disease
The drug is used one month before the expected activity of blood-sucking insects, during the entire period of their activity and another month after the cessation of activity, or throughout the year. It is recommended to treat animals on the same day every month. If the animal was treated with another drug that protects against heartworms, Advokat® for cats, it can be used a month after treatment with the previous drug.

Treatment of nematodes and hookworms
Monthly treatment of animals with the drug reduces the probability of infection with nematodes. The drug is also used in seasonal treatments against fleas and gastrointestinal helminthiasis.

Ferrets

Treatment and prevention of flea infestation
The use of the drug prevents infection by fleas for 3 weeks. With high activity of fleas in the external environment, re-treatment is recommended after two weeks.

Prevention of heartworm disease
The drug is used one month before the expected activity of blood-sucking insects, during the entire period of their activity and another month after the end of activity, or throughout the year. It is recommended to treat animals on the same day every month.

Method of application

The drug is used only externally. Take one pipette from the package. Holding the pipette in a vertical position, unscrew and remove the cap. Next, turn the cap over, put it on the pipette and open it, removing the foil.
In the area of ​​the neck near the base of the skull, part the fur of the animal so that the skin is visible. Place the end of the pipette on the skin, squeeze the pipette firmly several times, apply the entire contents directly to the skin. Apply the drug to intact skin.

Contraindications

• Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
• For cats:
  • do not apply to sick and weakened animals, kittens under 9 weeks of age; the use of the drug in animals weighing up to 1 kg should be based on risk assessment and the need for treatment.
• For ferrets:
