It has an antifibrotic, antioxidant and hepatoprotective effect, prevents the penetration of a number of hepatotoxic substances into cells, stimulates the regeneration of hepatocytes and normalizes the functioning of the liver.

Carnitine — an amino acid that is related to B vitamins and is synthesized in the liver. Participates in the transport of fatty acids through the mitochondrial membrane, is an important factor in maintaining the level of acylation coenzyme (coenzyme A) in all types of cells, has pronounced anabolic properties, stimulates the synthesis of muscle tissue proteins, mobilizes lipids from fat depots (liver, muscles , adipose tissue), improves the appetite of animals, the activity of digestive gland enzymes and the secretory function of the gastrointestinal tract, assimilation of nutrients from feed, reduces the intensity of apoptosis of cells of all types, increases the intensity of the supply of organic acids and ketone bodies to the Krebs cycle (this prevents the development of acidosis and ketosis ), tone of skeletal muscles and myocardium, promotes rapid recovery after technological stress and physical exertion.

Methionine — an essential amino acid that has a metabolic and hepatoprotective effect, is a donor of mobile metal groups, is necessary for the synthesis of choline, due to its deficiency, the synthesis of phospholipids from fats and the deposition of neutral fat in the liver is disturbed. Participates in the exchange of sulfur-containing amino acids, in the synthesis of adrenaline, creatinine and other biologically important compounds, activates the action of hormones, vitamins (cyanocobalamin, ascorbic and folic acid), enzymes, proteins, reduces the concentration of cholesterol and increases the concentration of blood phospholipids. Neutralizes some toxic substances by methylation.

Sorbit has a detoxifying and choleretic effect, restores the volume of circulating blood. Accumulates in the liver in the form of glycogen and participates in energy metabolism.

How to use and dosage

Apply orally, individually and by group method, with water or feed in the following doses per 10 kg of body weight per day:

• dogs, cats — 1-1.2 ml, with babesiosis, leptospirosis — 3 ml;

The daily dose can be divided into two parts and given after 10-12 hours, the course — 5-10 days, if necessary and especially in case of liver damage — 15-20 days.
