Composition:
1 ml of the drug contains the active substance:
imidacloprid - 100 mg;
excipients: H-methylpyrrolidone, PEG-400.

Pharmaceutical form:
Solution for external use, spot application.

Pharmacological properties:
ATCvet QP53, ectoparasiticides, insecticides and repellents (ATC vet QP53АХ17, imidacloprid).

Imidacloprid, the active substance of the drug, belongs to the group of chlornicotinyl compounds. Blocks postsynaptic cholinergic receptors, which are sensitive to nicotine and located in ectoparasites in the central nervous system. Interruption of nerve impulse transmission leads to paralysis and death of the parasite.

Imidacloprid has a low level of penetration through the blood-brain barrier, so it practically does not affect the central nervous system of mammals.

Indications for use:
Prevention and treatment of cats for fleas (Ctenocephalus canis, Ctenocephalus felis, Pulex irritans), lice (Linognathus setosus), hair eaters (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus) and parasitiform ticks (Ixodes spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Haemaphysalis spp., Dermacentor spp. ) at the imaginal, nymphal and larval stages of development.

Contraindications:

• the individual hypersensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug is a contraindication;
• do not apply to sick, exhausted and weakened animals;
• do not apply to young animals under 8 weeks of age;
• do not apply to females during lactation and pregnancy.

Side effect:
In animals with increased sensitivity to active substances, skin irritation is possible when using the drug.

Special precautions for use:

• when treating animals with the drug, prevent the drug from getting into the eyes and oral cavity;
• after processing the animal, do not allow it to come into contact with other animals until the fur is completely dry;
• use during pregnancy, lactation, pregnancy.

Interaction with other means and other forms of interaction:
Not installed.

The drug is used only externally. In the area of ​​the neck near the base of the skull, the fur of the animal is separated so that the skin is visible. The end of the pipette is placed on the skin, the pipette is firmly squeezed several times and the entire content is applied directly to the skin. The drug is applied to intact skin.

It is recommended to re-apply the product regularly throughout the year, but no more than once every 30 days.

In order to prevent re-infestation by fleas, the animal's bedding is replaced or it is treated with an insecticidal and acaricidal agent according to the instructions for use.

The drug is intended for single use.

The drug should not be applied to wet or damaged skin and used simultaneously with other insect-acaricidal drugs.

Do not wash the animal within 48 hours after treatment.

Overdose (symptoms, emergency measures, antidotes):
With an overdose of the drug 10 times to adult cats and 5 times to kittens, no overdose symptoms were observed.

When the drug enters the gastrointestinal tract (orally), complications are possible that quickly pass: ataxia, general tremor, pupil dilation, breathing disorders. There is no specific antidote.

Special warnings:
Bathing animals with shampoo immediately after treatment reduces the effectiveness of the drug.

Special warnings for humans:

Persons who use the drug, must follow the basic rules of hygiene and safety adopted when working with veterinary drugs. After treatment with the drug, the animal cannot be petted or allowed near small children until the fur is completely dry. In case of accidental contact with the drug on the skin or mucous membranes, wash them immediately with running water. It is recommended to wear rubber gloves when handling animals. After handling animals, hands are thoroughly washed with soap.

Forms of incompatibility (main):
