Composition

1 ml of the drug contains active substances: imidacloprid– 10%, moxidectin– 2.5%.

Application

Prevention and treatment of dogs with mixed parasitic infestations.

Dosage

The minimum recommended dose of imidacloprid is 10 mg/kg of body weight and moxidectin is 2.5 mg/kg of body weight, which is equivalent to 0.1 ml of Advokat® for dogs per 1 kg of body weight.

Advokator dosage scheme® for dogs:

• for an animal weighing up to 4 kg: volume 0.4 ml; Imidacloprid (mg/kg body weight) minimum 10; Moxidectin (mg/kg body weight) minimum 2.5.
• for an animal weighing from 4 kg to 10 kg: volume 1.0 ml; Imidacloprid (mg/kg of body weight) 10-25; Moxidectin (mg / kg body weight) 2.5-6.25.
• for an animal weighing from 10 kg to 25 kg: volume 2.5 ml; Imidacloprid (mg/kg of body weight) 10-25; Moxidectin (mg / kg body weight) 2.5-6.25.
• for an animal weighing from 25 kg to 40 kg: volume 4.0 ml; Imidacloprid (mg/kg of body weight) 10-16; Moxidectin (mg / kg body weight) 2.5-4.

For treatment and prevention:

• flea (Ctenocephalides felis).

For treatment from:

• lice and hair eaters (Trichodectes canis);
• mites (Otodectes cynotis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis, Demodex canis);
• filariatoses (destruction of Dirofilaria immitis L3 and L4 larvae; destruction of L3 and L4 Dirofilaria repens larvae);
• strongylatosis (Angiostrongylus vasorum - L4 larvae, immature; Сrenosoma vulpis);
• gastrointestinal nematodes (Toxocara canis - L4 larvae, immature and mature; Ancylostoma caninum, and Uncinaria stenocephala; Toxascaris leonine - imago; Trichuris vulpis).

For the prevention of spirocerciasis (Spirocerca lupi).
The drug can be used as one of the means in the treatment of allergic flea dermatitis.

Treatment and prevention of infection with siphonopterosis
A single treatment with the drug prevents flea infestation for 4 weeks, but the larvae can appear in the environment for up to 6 weeks or longer depending on the climatic conditions. Therefore, it is advisable to combine the treatment of animals with the drug Advokat® for dogs with treatment of the places where animals stay (environment) with other insectoacaricides in order to interrupt the life cycle of fleas.
In the treatment of allergic flea dermatitis, the drug is recommended to be used monthly.

Treatment of otodectosis
One-time treatment with the drug. On the recommendation of a veterinarian, re-treatment is possible after 30 days. Do not apply directly into the ear canal.

Treatment of scabies (caused by Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis)
Treatment is carried out twice (1 dose indicated in the table) with an interval of 4 weeks.

Treatment of demodicosis (caused by Demodex canis)
Lawyer® for dogs against Demodex canis is used every 4 weeks (applied to the skin) for 2-4 months. In severe cases, the drug is used 2-4 times with an interval of 1 time per week. In all cases, treatment is continued until until the results of 2 consecutive monthly laboratory tests are negative (skin scrapings). In cases where, after treatment with Advokat® for dogs, within 2 months, if the animal does not see improvement, the use of the drug is stopped and an alternative treatment is prescribed on the recommendation of a veterinarian. 
Since demodicosis in dogs is often complicated by pyoderma, it is necessary to carry out complex treatment for dermatomycosis aimed at normalizing skin function, hormonal status, improving hair growth, strengthening immune reactions.

Prevention of heartworm disease
Treatment of animals with the drug Advokat® for dogs, start one month before the attack of blood-sucking insects and stop 2 months after it ends. 
In tropical regions, animals are processed throughout the year.
When the dog is treated with another product that protects against heartworms, Advokat® for dogs, it should be used 1 month after taking the last dose of the previous drug.

Treatment of angiostrongylosis
Single dose. On the recommendation of a veterinarian, re-treatment is possible after 30 days. Regular weekly treatment for 4 weeks will prevent angiostrongylus (Angiostrongylus vasorum).

Treatment of crenosomiasis (Crenosoma vulpis)
One-time processing.

Nematodes, stomatodoses, hookworms, hairy heads
The drug is used monthly to prevent nematodes.

Treatment of microfilariae (D. immitis)
The drug is used for two consecutive months.

Treatment of microfilariae (D. repens)

Application procedure

• The drug is used only externally.
• For dogs weighing up to 25 kg:
  • Dogs are processed in a standing position. Divide the wool between the shoulder blades so that the skin is visible, and apply the drug to the intact skin. Place the narrow end of the pipette on the skin, firmly squeeze the pipette several times and squeeze the entire contents of the pipette directly onto the skin.
• For dogs weighing more than 25 kg:
  • Dogs are processed in a standing position. The contents of the pipette are applied to 3-4 points along the spine, starting between the shoulder blades and ending at the root of the tail. With each application, you need to unfold the fur so that the skin is visible, the drug is applied to undamaged skin. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and gently squeeze the pipette so that the contents of the pipette are evenly applied along the spine. When applying the drug to the skin, avoid getting the drug in one place and the possibility of the animal licking the applied product.

Contraindications

• Do not use in puppies under 7 weeks of age.
• Do not use in animals with increased sensitivity to the components of the drug.
• Do not use in dogs with severe helminth infestation (class 4).
• The treatment of sick and weakened animals, and those with a body weight of up to 1 kg should be based on an assessment of the risk and the need for treatment.
