Modern drugs that contain fipronil are an effective means of killing fleas within 24 hours from the moment they get on pets.

- 1 pipette with a volume of 1.34 ml:
- fipronil – 10%.
- FrontLine Spot On L drops for dogs weighing 20-40 kg:
- 1 pipette with a volume of 2.68 ml:
- fipronil – 10%.
- FrontLine Spot On XL drops for dogs weighing 40-60 kg:
- 1 pipette with a volume of 4.02 ml:
- fipronil – 10%.
Excipients:
- polyvidone – 5%,
- polysorbate 80 – 5%,
- butylhydroxyanisole - 0.02%,
- butylhydrotoluene - 0.01%,
- diethylene glycol monoethyl ether - up to 100%.
Form of issue:
Drug form: solution for external use. FrontLine Spot On - drops on the withers in the form of a 10% solution for topical (spot) application. In appearance, FrontLine Spot On is a colorless transparent liquid with a weak specific smell.
FrontLine Spot On is produced packaged in polyethylene pipettes.
Effective period:
- duration of protection of animals from ticks - 1 month,
- duration of protection of animals from fleas - 2 - 2.5 months.
Indications:
- The drug is used to fight against fleas, lice, hair eaters and ticks (ixodes, cheilitella, otodectos).
- FrontLine - drops are prescribed for dogs, including pregnant and lactating animals:
- at entomosis,
- with otodectosis,
- when affected by ticks,
- in complex therapy of allergic dermatitis caused by fleas.
How to use:
- Before processing, remove the pipette from the blister, gently tap the drug into the expanded part of the pipette, break off the tip of the pipette along the notch line.
- Put the animal's fur at the base of the neck between the shoulder blades (in the withers area) and, pressing the pipette, apply drops to the skin in one placein the dose specified in the table.
- Depending on the type and weight of the animal, FrontLine Spot On pipettes of different volumes are used.
- The drug FrontLine Spot On is used to treat otodectosis (ear scabies).
- For this purpose, 4-6 drops are buried in each ear (the drops must be injected into both ears).
For uniform distribution of the drug:
- the auricle is folded in half and its base is slightly massaged,
- apply the remainder to the skin between the shoulder blades (one-time treatment).

- The volume of FrontLine Spot On pipettes is designed for dogs of different weight categories, according to the table.

- When treating dogs weighing more than 60 kg, a combination of pipettes of different volumes is used.
Side effects:
- Side effects and complications in animals when using FrontLine Spot On according to the instructions for use have not been established.
Contraindications:
- Do not use FrontLine Spot On drops:
- patients with infectious diseases,
- beneficial to animals,
- weakened animals,
- puppies younger than 8 weeks of age,
- dogs weighing less than 2 kg.
- Auricular use of the drug in the treatment of otodectosis is not allowed in case of a rupture of the eardrum.
- You should not allow the drug to get on the mucous membrane of the eyes of animals, as well as apply the drug to wet or damaged skin.
- In case of increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug and the appearance of signs of allergic reactions, the treatment is stopped, the drug is washed off with water, after consultation with a veterinarian, antihistamines are administered internally.
Measures of personal prevention:
- When conducting activities using FrontLine, it is recommended to use rubber gloves.
- Smoking, drinking and eating are not allowed during work.
- After finishing work, hands should be thoroughly washed with warm water and soap.
- Do not pet or allow children to come into contact with treated animals.
- Do not allow people with signs of allergic, respiratory and skin diseases to work with the drug.
- People with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug should avoid direct contact with the drug.
- If drops accidentally get on the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, they must be washed with a large amount of water.
- It is prohibited to use empty pipettes from the medicine for domestic purposes; they are placed in a cellophane bag and disposed of with household waste.
