Vitomax Salveskin cream for skin diseases in dogs and cats

Vitomax Salveskin is a product for treating skin diseases in dogs and cats. Thanks to a combination of active substances, the cream has antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antiallergic effects.

Composition (1 g):

• active substances: triamcinolone acetonide 0.64 mg, gentamicin sulfate 1 mg, clotrimazole 10 mg
• excipients: methylparaben, propylene glycol, disodium edetate, mineral oil, white soft paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, macrogol 20 cetostearyl ether, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, disodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, purified water

Indications:

• fungal skin diseases: dermatophytosis (Microsporum canis, Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes), candidiasis (Candida albicans, Candida parapsilosis), yeast infection by Malassezia furfur
• dermatoses and dermatitis complicated by secondary bacterial infection with hyperemia, itching, swelling and exudate infiltration

Method of administration:

Apply topically. Trim the hair on the affected area before application. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin and surrounding areas twice a day (morning and evening). After the skin condition improves, the frequency may be reduced to once a day. Treatment duration is 2–4 weeks, with a break of at least 20 days between repeated courses. The course is determined by a veterinarian.

Precautions:

• individual hypersensitivity to the components of the product
• avoid getting the cream into the eyes and on open wounds; do not apply to the skin around the eyes
• prolonged use over a large area may cause systemic effects typical of glucocorticosteroids
