KRKA Selafort — antiparasitic spot-on drops for cats

KRKA Selafort is a modern antiparasitic treatment for cats that provides комплексive protection against fleas, mites, and helminths. The spot-on drops are suitable for both treatment and prevention of ectoparasites and certain internal parasites, helping maintain your pet’s health and comfort.

The active ingredient selamectin provides systemic insecticidal, acaricidal, and nematocidal action. After topical application, the product is rapidly absorbed, distributed throughout the body, and provides protection for up to 30 days.

The product is intended for cats weighing 2.6–7.5 kg and 7.6–10 kg.

Composition:
Selafort in 6% and 12% solution forms contains selamectin at concentrations of 60 mg/ml and 120 mg/ml respectively.

Excipients: isopropyl alcohol, butylhydroxytoluene, dimethyl sulfoxide.

Indications for use:

• treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides spp.)
• treatment of otodectosis (ear mite infestation)
• treatment of lice infestations
• treatment of toxocariasis and hookworm infections
• prevention of heartworm disease with regular monthly use

Directions for use:
apply the product once to dry, intact skin at the base of the neck between the shoulder blades. Part the fur before application so the skin is visible.

Apply the entire contents of the pipette directly onto the skin in one spot. Avoid touching the application area until completely dry.

Application recommendations:

• for flea prevention, apply once monthly
• monthly use is recommended for flea allergy dermatitis
• for heartworm prevention, use during mosquito activity season

Contraindications:

• do not use in kittens younger than 6 weeks
• do not use in weakened or sick animals
• do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the product components

Warnings:
for external use only. Do not apply to wet or damaged skin. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth of the animal.

Wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not allow children to touch the treated animal until the application site is fully dry.

Storage conditions:
store in the original package in a dry place protected from light at temperatures below 30 °C.
