Virbac Pyoderm — medicated shampoo for dogs and cats with bacterial and fungal skin conditions
Virbac Pyoderm is a dermatological shampoo with 3% chlorhexidine, specially formulated to support the care of skin infections of bacterial and fungal origin. It is recommended in cases of pyoderma, Malassezia dermatitis, and surface bacterial overgrowth.
This shampoo has a neutral pH, contains no fragrances, and is suitable for dogs and cats of all ages. Thanks to the combination of innovative technologies — Glycotechnology and Spherulites — the formula provides long-lasting action after rinsing and helps support the skin’s natural barrier.

Composition
Mild cleansing agents, chlorhexidine 3%, Glycotechnology (rhamnose, galactose, mannose, alkyl polyglucosides), Spherulites, chitosanide, water, pH-balancing components. Fragrance-free.
Directions for use
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Wet the coat thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Apply shampoo, lather, and rinse.
- Reapply shampoo and massage for 5–10 minutes, avoiding contact with the eyes.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Use 2–3 times a week or as directed by your veterinarian.
Indications
Pyoderma, seborrhea, bacterial and fungal dermatitis, surface microbial imbalance. Suitable as a supportive product alongside primary therapy.
Contraindications
Do not use in animals with known sensitivity to any component. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.
