Arterium Sanoderm — cream for treating dermatomycoses and skin inflammation in dogs and cats

Sanoderm is a combined white or almost white cream for topical use in dogs and cats. Thanks to the combination of betamethasone, gentamicin and clotrimazole, the product has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antibacterial and antifungal action.

Composition (1 g of cream):

• betamethasone dipropionate — 0.64 mg
• gentamicin sulfate — 1 mg
• clotrimazole — 10 mg
• excipients: methylparaben (E 218), propylene glycol, disodium edetate, mineral oil, white soft paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, macrogol cetostearyl ether, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium hydrogen phosphate, purified water

Pharmacological properties:
Betamethasone inhibits leukocyte migration and the release of inflammatory mediators, reduces vascular permeability and edema. Clotrimazole is active against Trichophyton, Microsporum canis, Candida albicans, Malassezia furfur. Gentamicin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria.

Indications:
treatment of dogs and cats with dermatoses with severe allergic and inflammatory reactions, itching, edema, complicated by secondary bacterial infection; fungal skin diseases (dermatophytosis, candidiasis, Malassezia yeast infections).

Directions for use:
before application, the hair on the affected area is shorn. Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected skin and surrounding areas twice a day (morning and evening), gently rubbing in; after improvement — once a day. The course of treatment is usually 2–4 weeks; a break of at least 20 days is required between repeated courses.

Contraindications:
hypersensitivity to the components of the product. Avoid contact with eyes and open wounds; do not apply to the skin around the eyes.
