Silica gel litter, thanks to its absorbent properties, is considered one of the most effective types of cat litter available.
Silica gel is a solid absorbent with a high moisture absorption capacity. It is a dried gel of silicic acid, chemically identical to ordinary sand, but with a highly porous structure and a surface area of up to 800 cm² per 1 g of silica gel. This provides its unique properties: liquids and odors are instantly absorbed and retained inside the granules.
AnimAll litter does not turn into a sticky mass during use, does not stick to cat’s paws, and does not spread around the house. It is suitable for cats with any coat type. Transparent granules with a diameter of 3–8 mm indicate high-quality drying of the silica gel.
Silica gel is much lighter than clay clumping litters and has superior absorption properties, making it more economical. One 5 L pack is enough for one cat for approximately one month.
AnimAll “Purple Amethyst” litter is non-toxic and environmentally safe, so it can be disposed of together with household or biological waste. It is also safe for people prone to allergies, as it does not contain dust.
Usage recommendations:
- Do not mix AnimAll “Purple Amethyst” with other types of litter to preserve its properties.
- Fill a clean and dry litter box with a 4–5 cm layer.
- Remove solid waste daily and stir the remaining granules.
- Top up the litter as needed, and replace completely at least once every 4 weeks.
Store an opened pack in a dry place and keep it tightly closed.
