Allergostop Suspension for Cats
Allergostop is a yellow suspension with a mild characteristic odor, intended for the treatment of allergic skin conditions in cats.
Composition:
Active ingredients:
- triamcinolone — 0.1%
- vitamin B2 — 0.4%
- vitamin B6 — 0.2%
- vitamin PP — 0.02%
- methionine — 0.1%
Excipients: succinic acid, glycerin, polysorbate 80, CMC, sodium benzoate.
Pharmacological properties:
The suspension has pronounced anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects, reducing capillary permeability and the accumulation of inflammatory cells in affected tissues. Methionine, an essential amino acid, activates metabolic processes and supports protein synthesis.
Succinic acid accelerates skin cell regeneration, normalizes energy metabolism, and exhibits an antitoxic effect. Vitamins promote epidermal recovery and have a positive impact on the condition of the skin and coat.
According to the degree of impact on warm-blooded animals, the product is classified as a low-hazard substance and does not cause toxic or sensitizing effects when used at recommended doses.
Indications for use:
Treatment of allergic skin diseases in cats, including urticaria, allergic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, eczema, atopic dermatitis, alopecia, and reactions to insect bites, including cases complicated by bacterial infection.
Dosage and administration:
The suspension is administered orally once daily during morning feeding with a small amount of food or applied directly onto the root of the tongue using a dosing syringe.
- body weight 1–3 kg — 0.25 ml
- body weight over 3 kg — 0.5 ml
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. During the first 4 days, the product is administered at the full dose; during the following 8 days, the dose is reduced by half.
Contraindications:
Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the product. Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals, or in cats with diabetes mellitus, viral infections, or under 1 year of age.
Warnings:
In rare cases, vomiting, salivation, decreased appetite, or skin irritation may occur. If adverse reactions appear, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.
Form of release:
10 ml bottles supplied with a dosing syringe, packed in a cardboard box.
Storage conditions:
Store in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, separately from food and feed, at a temperature from 0 °C to 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
Shelf life: 2 years from the date of manufacture.
