Order veterinary medicines for cats and dogs at HOME FOOD❤️ Delivery in 1–2 days✔️
ProVET Mikostop is an antifungal spray for external use in dogs and cats for trichophytosis, microsporia, bacterial dermatitis, pityriasis versicolor and yeast infections (genera Candida, Rhodotorula). The main active ingredient is clotrimazole, a broad-spectrum antifungal agent from the imidazole group.
Active against pathogenic dermatophytes (Trichophyton rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum canis), yeasts (Candida, Torulopsis glabrata, Rhodotorula), agents of pityriasis versicolor, gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp.), gram-negative bacteria (Bacteroides spp., Gardnerella vaginalis, Malassezia furfur, Corynebacterium minutissimum) and protozoa.
The antifungal effect is achieved by disrupting the synthesis of ergosterol, a component of the cell membrane of fungi and yeasts. Salicylic acid enhances the action of clotrimazole. The product has anti-inflammatory and antiallergic properties and prevents swelling.
