Description:
Transparent liquid from yellowish to yellow-brown colour with a pleasant specific smell with a note of basil.
Composition:
100 ml of the product contains the following active ingredients:
- propylene glycol - 40 g
- calendula tincture - 11.42 ml,
- basil oil - 0.028 g.
Excipients: cremophor EL, purified water.
Pharmacological properties:
ATC-vet classification code: QV03A. All other veterinary drugs that have a therapeutic effect. The pharmacological effect is due to the action of the active ingredients of the drug. Propylene glycol dissolves earwax and dirt, which contributes to effective care of the external auditory canal. The pharmacological properties of marigold tincture are due to the presence of biologically active compounds: carotenoids, flavonoids and saponins, which stimulate reparative processes, normalise skin structure, increase its resistance, moisture, elasticity, and have anti-inflammatory effect. Basil essential oil softens and tones the mucous membrane of the ear canal, promotes a general tonic effect and normalisation of blood supply.
Application:
The drug is used as an antiseptic agent for cleaning the ear canals of dogs and cats in case of excessive sulphur excretion, presence of dirt, which contributes to effective care, prevention of inflammatory processes in the ears.
Dosing:
Fill the ear canal completely with Auricap using a syringe with a spout. The required amount of solution is calculated for each animal individually. For cats and small dogs, it is recommended to administer 1-3 ml in each ear, for medium-sized dogs - 3-5 ml, for large dogs - 5-10 ml. Then massage from the base of the ear to the top of the ear to evenly distribute the solution. At the same time, the liquid displaces dirt and washes it to the surface of the ear. The intensity of the massage depends on the animal's sensitivity. The animal can get rid of the remaining fluid and earwax from the lower parts of the ear canal by shaking its head. If necessary, the procedure should be repeated. At the end of the cleaning, blot the inner surface of the ear canal with a cotton pad. The spray nozzle is used as an additional tool if, after cleaning the ears according to the instructions, dirt remains on the outer surface of the auricle.
The frequency of use is determined individually.
In the treatment of ears, Auricap may be used before each drug administration. For hygienic care of the animal's ears, the drug is used once every 7-10 days.

Precautions:
Do not use pointed sticks, which will lead to ear injury and inflammation. In case of injury to the animal and/or a spike with a nose.
Storage:
In the original packaging in a dry place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. The product has a shelf life of 2 years. Keep out of the reach of children.
