Ceva FELIWAY Friends — pheromone diffuser refill for reducing conflict between cats

Ceva FELIWAY Friends is a refill bottle for the electrical diffuser, designed to support harmonious relationships between cats living together. The product helps reduce social tension, conflict, chasing, hissing, and fighting between cats.

FELIWAY Friends contains a synthetic analogue of the natural appeasing pheromone released by a mother cat while nursing her kittens. This signal helps kittens feel safe, supports bonding between them, and encourages calmer interactions.

Once the bottle is installed in the electrical diffuser, the pheromone signal is continuously released throughout the room, helping adult cats respond more calmly to one another and coexist more peacefully in the same household.

The refill has no noticeable scent for people, is not an air freshener, and has no calming effect on people or dogs.

Active component:

The pheromone signal is species-specific and is perceived by cats as a message that supports social contact, mutual acceptance, and reduced tension.

Directions for use:

• unplug the electrical diffuser from the socket
• unscrew the used bottle
• remove the cap from the new refill
• screw the bottle securely into the diffuser
• plug the device vertically into a properly functioning electrical socket
• leave the diffuser switched on continuously, 24 hours a day

Replace the refill bottle approximately every 30 days. The removable sticker on the bottle can be used as a reminder of the next replacement date.

Do not switch the diffuser off at night or when no one is at home, as the pheromone signal must be released continuously for proper effectiveness.

Recommendations for use:

• place the diffuser in the room where the cats spend most of their time
• choose the room where conflicts occur most frequently
• leave at least 1.2 m of free space above the device
• do not install the diffuser beneath shelves, tables, or wall-mounted furniture
• do not place it behind doors, curtains, or large items of furniture
• do not plug it into an extension lead, multi-socket adapter, plug adapter, or power adapter
• do not install it near air conditioners, ventilation openings, or strong draughts

If the cats mainly stay in different rooms, on different floors, or if the area exceeds 70 m², several diffusers may be required.

The first positive changes may be noticeable during the first week. For proper assessment of the results, continuous use of FELIWAY Friends for at least one month is recommended.

For long-term support of harmonious relationships between cats, the refills may be used continuously.

Important information:

• use only with the original FELIWAY electrical diffuser
• do not use the bottle with other electrical devices
• do not refill the used bottle with other liquids
• do not apply the contents directly to the cat, coat, furniture, or other surfaces
• do not cover the diffuser or touch the bottle wick
• check the condition of the electrical diffuser every month
• for proper performance, replace the diffuser after using six refill bottles or approximately every 6 months

FELIWAY Friends is not intended to reduce aggression towards people. If conflict is accompanied by urine marking, unwanted scratching, or hiding, FELIWAY Classic may also be required.

Each cat should have unrestricted access to its own food and water bowls, litter tray, scratching post, resting place, and safe escape routes. Insufficient resources and competition between cats may maintain tension even while the product is being used.

If conflicts are frequent, intense, result in injury, or do not improve, consult a veterinarian or qualified animal behaviour specialist.
