Composition:
Fluralaner (4- [5- (3,5-dichlorophenyl) -5- (trifluoromethyl) -4H-isoxazol-3-yl] -2-methyl-N- [ 2-oxo-2- (2,2,2- trifluoroethylamino) ethyl] benzamide) is an insectoacaricide of the isoxazoline group.
Excipients:

- sucrose - 7%,
- sodium lauryl sulfate - 2%,
- disodium pamoate monohydrate - 2%,
- magnesium stearate - 0.75%,
- aspartame - 0.25%,
- glycerin - 7.5%,
- soybean oil (stabilized with 0.1% butyloxytoluene) - 12.3%,
- polyethylene glycol - 18.5%,
- corn starch - 16.06%.
Pharmacological properties:
Bravecto belongs to insectocaricidal drugs of systemic action.
Release form:
Bravecto is produced in the form of chewable tablets, which are packed 1 piece in sealed aluminum foil blisters.
Active substance, in 1 Fluralaner tablet:
- 112.5 mg for dogs weighing 2 - 4.5 kg;
- 250 mg for dogs weighing > 4.5 - 10 kg;
- 500 mg for dogs weighing > 10 - 20 kg,
- 1000 mg for dogs weighing > 20 - 40 kg;
- 1400 mg for dogs weighing > 40 - 56 kg.
Pharmaceutical form: Chewable tablets
Indications for use:
- Bravecto is prescribed to dogs for the prevention and treatment of acarosis caused by Ixodes ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes hexagonus, Ixodes scapularis, Ixodes holocyclus, Dermacentor reticulatus, Dermacentor variabilis and Rhipicephalus sanguineus).
- The drug is prescribed to reduce the risk of babesiosis, transmitted by ixodid ticks infected with Babesia canis.
- The drug is prescribed for the purpose of prevention and treatment of entomosis caused by fleas (Ctenocephalides felis and Ctenocephalides canis).
- Bravecto is prescribed for complex therapy of allergic dermatitis caused by fleas.
- The drug is prescribed to prevent infection with dipylidiasis transmitted by fleas infected with larvae of the helminth Dipylidium caninum.
- Bravecto is prescribed for the treatment of demodicosis caused by Demodex canis.
- The drug is prescribed for the treatment of scabies caused by Sarcoptes scabiei.
- Bravecto is prescribed for the treatment of otodectosis caused by Otodectes cynotis.
- Insectoacaricidal effect of Bravecto lasts for 12 weeks.
- Breaking tablets is not allowed:
- You should make sure that the dog has completely swallowed the necessary dose of the drug.
Application procedure:
- Bravecto is prescribed to dogs for the treatment and prevention of aphanipterosis, in the complex therapy of allergic dermatitis caused by fleas, as well as acarosis caused by ixodid ticks.
- Bravecto is administered to dogs individually orally during or shortly before/after feeding in a therapeutic dose of 25-56 mg fluralaner per 1 kg of animal weight.
- Bravecto has an attractive aroma and taste and, as a rule, dogs like to eat it.
- If the pet does not want to take the drug, it is forcibly injected directly into the mouth or fed with food.
- Breaking tablets is not allowed.
- You should make sure that the dog has completely swallowed the necessary dose of the drug.
- When using the drug for dogs weighing more than 56 kg, a combination of tablets is used at the rate of 25-56 mg of fluralaner per 1 kg of the animal's weight.
- The use of the drug is allowed during the period of puppyhood and lactation.
- If necessary, repeat treatments are carried out after 12 weeks.
Contraindications:
- The manufacturers of the drug indicate the presence of the following contraindications:
- the age of the puppy is less than 2 months,
- the weight of the dog is less than 2 kg,
- the presence of individual intolerance,
- presence of chronic diseases of digestive organs.
Side effects:
- The manufacturer declared information about the absence of side effects detected during the action of the drug, or more precisely, "practically none are observed".
Features:
- Symptoms of overdose have not been established.
- Peculiarities of the action at the first use of the drug and when it is canceled have not been established.
